After all the various topics that I’ve written about till date, this post touches upon a subject that’s very, very close to my heart: a blog about a student’s experience at Foodwhizz Cookery School.Julia & Group

We had the pleasure of teaching a group of expat’s this past week and here’s what one of  our student, an avid blogger and needless to say a foodie has to say about us:

“… I had been trying to find a class for quite a while.  I had emailed a couple of schools purporting to teach Indian cooking – but as is typical – received no response whatsoever … Not so with Foodwhizz Cookery School …  Their website is modern, simple and informative – listing out a number of interesting looking alternatives … I emailed them and swiftly got a reply offering me date and time options … Chef Shwetambari (or ‘Shweta’) greeted us personally … chatted together about her background, family and training … Priyanka is a lawyer by profession but also runs the customer care and marketing side of the business – and very efficiently so may I add.  We were handed a set of neatly presented cooking instructions – which would form the basis for our three hour session …”

Julia goes on to describe her experience with us in detail with a sneak peak into some useful tips about our Mughlai recipes as well. Her full blog is available to read here: http://bombayjules.blogspot.in/2013/06/learning-to-cook-mughlai-style.html

Feedback is our way of learning from your experiences. If you’ve cooked or baked with us, please write to us on contact@foodwhizz.com to share your experience.

If you haven’t met us yet, we’re eagerly looking forward to meet with you!

Till then… Happy Cooking!

Shwetambari & Priyanka.

Feature: Meri Saheli, September 2012 Issue

On the 3rd of Sept’ 2012, a curious call from one of “Meri Saheli’s” avid reader caught me off guard. It was then that I realized that I was now a ‘Published Author‘ and was getting calls from foodies around the country. Feedback on how the recipes were working, how they could not believe that they could re-create such taste in their kitchens, some doubts, some requests, some inquiries about the courses… I was overwhelmed.

So here it is…my first published recipe set. Non. Veg. Recipes, Meri Saheli, September 2012 Issue.
